Within Royale Oceanic’s organisation, there is a division solely dedicated to the servicing of yachts under management, maintaining daily contact with both Captains and their crew.

Peter Edwards - General Manager & DPA

Peter spent a number of years working in Monaco with some of the most exciting and prestigious superyachts in the industry. At weekends, Peter could often be found in the mountains or exploring the villages along the Cote d'Azur or Amalfi Coast. 

Now an expert in the top charter destinations and with an intimate knowledge of charter destinations, he is well placed to help create the perfect charter itinerary. Having worked with superyachts for over a decade, Peter is now responsible for the operation of the Charter Division and Yacht Management Division.

Peter began his career as a seafarer in 2000 and has since gained a degree in Maritime Studies.

Sam Russell - Yacht Manager

Sam began her maritime career a little over 10 years ago, starting her cadetship aboard passenger ships.  After completing her cadetship she progressed within the company to the rank of 2nd Officer.  As well as being a senior watchkeeper, she occupied various roles within the deck department including Safety and SMS Officer.  Working on Cruise Ships gave Sam a good insight into the hospitality sector of commercial shipping.  She enjoyed visiting some of the worlds most beautiful ports and had the pleasure of working alongside some of its most professional and knowledgeable seafarers.

Sam has recently joined Royale Oceanic and is excited to be part of such a dynamic team.  She is enjoying gaining a panoramic insight into the yachting industry and its management.
 

Kate Small - Certification & Crewing Manager

Kate’s marine career started back in 2001, where she joined a Ship Management company who owned and managed crude oil tankers of various sizes. Starting as a Crewing Assistant, Kate worked her way up to Crewing Officer where she was responsible for over 2000 seafarers manning Aframax, Panamax, VLCC and ULCC vessels and FSO. Kate was also actively involved in important projects such as developing a pool of stable seafarers, designated manning and future promotable Officers.

Since 2001 Kate has gained a Diploma in Ship Management and various high level training courses such as Company/Ship Security Officer, Marine Risk Assessment, Maritime Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis and ISM Internal Auditor along the way.

Kate enjoys the variety that the yachting industry brings and is developing a good relationship with all of Royale Oceanic's crews.
