Visiting Redman Whiteley Dixon
Since 1993 this British design studio has been at the forefront of large sailing yacht design and large motor yacht design.
A studio in demand
Working with leading shipyards on recent launches such as the 65m MY Nataly from Benetti and the 96m VAVA II from DML, Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) are in demand for both exterior and interior assignments.
With a team of 11 based at beautiful premises in Beaulieu on the UK’s south coast, yacht owners enjoy feeling part of this specialist studio. Led by partners Justin Redman, Mark Whiteley, and Tony Dixon, the team have enjoyed two decades working together.
What can owners expect from this studio? Their work is characterised by clean lines, original hull profiles, elegant interiors and realistic designs that can be built by the shipyard and consultants they team up with.
Notable projects from RWD include M/Y Lady Britt, M/Y Utopia, S/Y Twizzle, S/Y Kokomo, and the 155m Lurssen AlSaid – their largest commission to date.
RWD Auto Tour
We must mention RWD’s unique annual event — something that's now a fixture in the superyacht calendar. The RWD Auto Tour is a leisurely dash with industry friends and yacht owners from Beaulieu to the Monaco Yacht Show. We can imagine many a yacht sketched over a long lunch stop at Crillon le Brave.
